If you can afford a $300k catamaran then you can put a water stabilization system in to prevent using an anchor. We have a freaking bay boat and still refuse to use anchors. Do better people

Doesn’t take a lot to detach an anchor from the chain, typically just have to unwind the seizing wire then unbolt the shackle.

Hard to know what you’re anchoring into unless you dive your anchor every time. If he pulled his anchor in it would finish off that barrel sponge.
