some brown do have mottled skin. I sometimes did it in mine. it's not just as noticeable. I used a red purple color in the detail. MG paints are in storage so I can't remember the exact one. also add

You’re getting better. Since your starter is already dark, lightening areas may be difficult, but definitely want the palms to be much lighter. For the lips, I’d go 2toned with a darker top lip.
