Nitrogen in the water caused me to empty my pool twice this years because chlorine does not get rid of it. And dangerous for people to swim in.

Use diesel exhaust fluid instead of this. Diesel exhaust fluid is 2 ingredients - water and urea nitrogen and most places you can get it at the pump or buy the DEF or Walmart brand.
