You can’t just activate a gift card, the gift cards start off with 0$ in the balance and then when you hand the cashier like 50$ they then add 50$ to the card

That’s not how this works… some gift cards can be NFC-readable, it’s just that Apple’s aren’t (they’re just the barcode on the back)

Theres no such thing as a card activator. It’s just when you BUY it, it gets activated cause you pay for the card to be activated. It won’t work unless theres a transaction
