@zubzz.com: Maycation: a vacation where you may or may not come back! I went on a tiny vacation this week to recover from my post-vacation blues (long story but yes it’s a thing). If you follow me on my other pages you’ll know how in love I’ve been with Lou Moon since 2021 when I first went there. It’s one of those places in Ghana that completely deserves its hype: CLEAN, QUIET beaches with the clearest blue water ever, rooms with absolutely beautiful views and delicious seafood. What’s not to love! The resort is in Axim, 2 hours from the Takoradi airport (I flew to the airport and arranged pick-up with the resort). I’ll try to keep the caption short so let me give you the basics. There are 22 rooms here and 3 categories: Island, Bay and Hillside. I got the Island Cape West Room which sleeps 2 guests and comes with its own private pool, a butler and breakfast and costs ¢7875 a night. The Island Villa which costs ¢8575 and Island Bay side suite which costs ¢7415 both have 2 bedrooms and sleep 4 people, while the Island Ocean Side room which costs ¢6865 sleeps 2 like my room. You have the option to pay for an extra guest: ¢650 for children, ¢1250 for adults. All island rooms/chalets come with their own private pool, a butler and breakfast. The hillside rooms cost ¢2280 and ¢2730, while the bayside ones (they face the sea but are on the mainland so you still get beautiful morning views) cost ¢3805 to ¢4470 a night. ALL rooms come with breakfast and the restaurant is open 7:00am to 9:30pm.
