@moveu: The SI Joint is a long, 1.5” joint that connects your Sacrum to your hip bone aka “illium” (if you want to get fancy). 🤓 The purpose of the joint is to distribute forces from the lower body to the spine and vice versa. When your SI joint is out of alignment, it can cause pain. 🫠 This pain is usually felt as a sharp stabbing sensation near the dimples in your lower back, and might also radiate down into your buttocks and hamstrings. 👀 Most of the time SI joint pain is caused by Lordosis/Hyperextension of the spine, not as in one rep, but as in you living most of your life in hyperextension - sleeping, s3x, walking, running, waiting at Starbucks, etc. 👇 If you want to fix this, you NEED to learn how to align your spine into a more “flexed” position. This can be done through glute and deep abdominal exercises. I’m not talking about crunches and bridges the way you’re doing them now, but with more intention of moving your spine through proper ranges of motion. When you have no pain in your joints, it’s because the pressure is evenly distributed among them. You can find the path to fix this issue in our app with Back & Core Program Level 1 and Hips & Glutes Program Level 1.📱🙌 In those programs, you’ll discover all of the best strength and flexibility exercises for better alignment and posture - link in bio 🔥 FIX YO S#!T 💪 #sijoint #sijointpain #backpain #lowback #raidiatingpain #pinchednerve
