@nbcsandiego: A severely injured dolphin calf that got stranded on the beach in Cardiff has defied the odds of survival, making a near-full recovery. 🐬⁠ ⁠ SeaWorld San Diego says the dolphin is about 4 to 6 months old. He was stranded in January and had a broken jaw and head trauma.⁠ ⁠ Because of the severity of the dolphin's injuries and his age, SeaWorld and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration have decided he should stay at SeaWorld permanently.
