@nbcsandiego: A severely injured dolphin calf that got stranded on the beach in Cardiff has defied the odds of survival, making a near-full recovery. 🐬 SeaWorld San Diego says the dolphin is about 4 to 6 months old. He was stranded in January and had a broken jaw and head trauma. Because of the severity of the dolphin's injuries and his age, SeaWorld and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration have decided he should stay at SeaWorld permanently. So, they gave him a name: Cardiff. SeaWorld says Cardiff is doing great and eating about eight pounds of food a day. Tap the link in bio for the full story. 🌊 #seaworld #sandiego #dolphins
