That's wrong 10 years ago it was k+3k=60 where K =15, and 45. so after ten years each has gained the same age which is 15+10=25 (George) and 45+10=55 years for (Sam) This is the wright approach.

I “think” the solving is a bit off. 10yrs ago=60yrs{i.e G=15yrs, S(x3 of G’s age)=45yrs}. The question is “find the present age of each”, which will be G=17.5(17yrs5mnts) S=52.5(52yrs5mnts)
