I play .06 gauge haha. Been playing since I was like 7 so I started using em because I wasn’t strong enough for normal strings, now its just habit

In Africa, we don't usually practice bends, strings are expensive. I tired Steve Lukather's solos and I kept breaking my strings so I slide instead, that's the best I can do, don't sound natural tho😑

I use a mixture of 13s & 12 set which suits my approach...I like good chordal sounds and double stops in solos but there's great stuff done on light strings which.i could never play😁
