Someone who brings a smile to my face just by being present. ☺️ Keep in mind that the majority of the ideas I share can’t take into account every single population. If you have Parkinson’s, are recovering from a hip or knee replacement, or have injuries that prevent you from performing some of the movements, these ideas might not apply to you. As hard as I tried to cue Annabelle to lean into me so that we could perform the movement, her fear wouldn’t let her commit, so the exercise became ineffective. We had to modify and come up with other ideas. As health and fitness professionals, we’re taught so many idioms and catchphrases that sound effective in theory but sometimes don’t work in practice. “Nose over toes” is one of my favorites, and I use it all the time. But what happens when a client is too scared to lean forward? Then “nose over toes” doesn’t work. I know I yap a lot—sometimes my clients have to tell me to shut up 🙈. Working on being an effective communicator is one of the most important aspects of what we do, and IMHO, more important than knowing every single anatomical term and function. Cause, let’s be honest, your clients won’t give two shits about the difference between the pectoralis major and pectoralis minor. 😂 #tellyourgrandma

Every gold deposit is a geological biography written in a different rock. Quartz veins are the classic image: hot mineral-rich fluids crack the crust and leave gold frozen in white veins. Sulfide ores hide it inside minerals like pyrite and arsenopyrite. Oxide deposits are the weathered remains of those systems, often closer to the surface and easier to process. Then there's placer gold — nature's recycling program. Ancient deposits erode, rivers sort the heavy grains, and gold accumulates in streambeds, powering the great gold rushes of history. Some of the world's richest deposits are far less obvious. Carlin-type systems contain "invisible" gold dispersed through sedimentary rocks at microscopic scales. Epithermal deposits preserve the plumbing of long-extinct hot springs. Porphyries spread gold through enormous volumes of rock alongside copper. Skarns form where magma transforms limestone, while orogenic deposits concentrate gold along the deep scars created during mountain building. Nine ore types. One element. Nine different ways Earth concentrates a metal that humans have chased for thousands of years. The most surprising part? Some gold is visible enough to pick out with your eyes, while some exists only as microscopic traces hidden inside other minerals. Which deposit type fascinates you most: river-concentrated placer gold or the nearly invisible gold of Carlin-type deposits? #Gold #Geology ##creatorsearchinsights #foryou #foryoupage
