@astronomerdean: The Earth’s nitrogen-rich atmosphere gives our sky a variety of colors at different times of day. On Mars, the atmosphere is mostly made of CO2 and is much, much thinner so it absorbs sunlight differently. Daytime on Mars, barring the occasional sand storm, has a caramel color to it. But as the Sun goes down the area near sunset can take on a blueish hue. For now rovers can witness the Martian sky? Do you think a human will get to experience it someday? #mars #rover #sunset #martian
