@greasedngassed: Allison and Jaime Cramp’s XW Falcon van is a blend of classic style and modern technology, with an intriguing backstory. Originally owned by Jaime’s dad, the van was a simple white Falcon with a 302 Cleveland engine. After some basic restoration work in the 90s, Jaime took over and used it as a daily driver until it was taken off the road in 2000. Seeing the van as a blank canvas, Jaime and Allison decided to create something unique that retained the classic vanner vibe without being cheesy. The couple, who sell beds for a living, incorporated a fully-adjustable electric bed into the van—a feature that would have been a dream in the 70s and 80s. The build, handled by Anton Duval and his team at Muscle Car Restorations, included many modern touches like an electric air-con system powered by a Tesla-sourced 12V unit, subtle interior lighting, integrated speakers, and noise reduction design by a BMW acoustics expert. The van, now sporting a striking Raw Orange paint job, retains the original 302C engine, upgraded to 351 cubes, and features various custom elements like a V8 noise button on the dash.
