@conservationorg: In Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, located in the Philippines island of Palawan, local Indigenous communities faced the unimaginable task of recovering their lands and livelihoods following the devastation of Typhoon Odette. Today, they have turned this tragedy into triumph.   The local community, with support from Conservation International and the #PricelessPlanet Coalition, has worked to restore the forests that were lost to the storm. And not only has nature flourished, but their economic opportunities have as well.   @Mastercard’s Priceless Planet Coalition, with support from Conservation International, World Resources Institute and 100+ partners from around the world, aims to restore 100 million trees in places with the greatest positive potential for climate, community, and biodiversity.
