What’s crazy is that with my experience, you’re able to adjust the tip min 24 hours after delivery is completed. Do your job, do it well, you’ll get a tip after. Don’t expect it simply for doing a job

and I literally noticed that the bigger the house the less the tip my husband used to go out into run down areas and those people would always hook him up

I hate this tipping system. I would rather they put this fee up front. I'd gladly pay $50 for grocery delivery service, but I refuse to pay $20 tip. I know this might not make sense to some people.

It’s always nice to receive a tip but if I don’t I don’t complain because maybe the person just didn’t have enough but for the items. You never know what person going through

My husband I work in tip based fields and while it’s so kind to tip a server or delivery driver, pls keep in mind it’s not required. I still have to remind myself of it every single day.

Not a big tipper but I always tip these drivers because they literally get $4-$5 per delivery on their own gas with no reimbursement from the company. They do a lot more than a waitress.

This job is a choice. I stopped doing it bc the tips are hit & miss. I understand the drivers side but u knew a tip wasn't on there & they can adjust tips after delivery.

I ALWSYS tip but I can 100% understand people wanting to wait to tip until after the work is completed.

Yeah, I stopped gig work cause 1) it was causing me a lot of body pain. 2) there were people who would scam the system and tip bait or lie about not getting their groceries.

If youre able to pay for delivery then you can pay a tip js that fee doesn’t go to the driver

I did door dash. Even if they don’t tip extra they pay for the service which adds us a tip on top of what they tip

back when i had food stamps, it literally wouldn’t let me tip on grocery delivery even tho i had a second card in the account. most of the time i left a note with cash outside.
