I usually let her throw a tantrum for a few minutes and just ignore her and then when she’s calmed down a little that’s when I ask if she needs a cuddle or if she needs anything else like a drink x💕

i work in a nursery and if a child isn't cooperating we normaly just set them down to the side and walk away and once they've calmed down we go over and talk to them xx

if my boy has a tantrum when there is no need I personally also ignore the behavior until he calms down then goes and hugs him and see if he wants anything.

I would have moved myself away and told her I'm going to stay away till I feel it's safe to come back, I also wouldn't force a cuddle, let her feel the emotion she's feeling& calm her when she's ready

I would keep doing what your doing with the gentle parenting staying calm and understanding and regulating her emotions, also hard when they can’t get there words out properly they get frustrated❤️

If she try’s hitting you give her a warning and say your making me sad and hurting me if she continues get up and walk out for a minute then walk back in and say we don’t hit mummy it hurts me 🥰🥰

@abby i leave my only just turned 2 yr old to have her tantrum cos she’s been in her terrible 2s for a while and if i don’t leave her for a bit i will get hit my hair pulled and much more so i have to leave her for a bit then when she’s calmed down she will ask for cuddles and a drink x

I would leave her by herself. Go get he something to eat and a drink and offer it to her and if she still in a strop leave her and her food and drink and wait a few mins then go offer her a cuddle x

i’d personally just get up and walk away, or try your best to ignore her. when she’s finally calmed down, go sit her down and tell her what she did was naughty and how it made you feel. then give love

With my sister I used to just let her go on like this for about 5 mins then it would turn into her crying so leave it for a few more mins let her do her own thing then ask if they want a hug give them
