Thank you! I just rethought how I'm going to do my finances. My EF is getting ready to cross 5k and I think I'll stop contributing and start paying off my high interest car loan until I can refinance!

I have a hysa with diff buckets but interest is earned on what is in each bucket instead of the total savings amount so I don't earn as much. I use SoFi. I have 5 buckets.

I totally agree with this! I started with 2 grand, then paid off debts. I auto transferred on the day I got paid so I didn’t “see” the money.
