I have cancer. My daughter and I spoke about how at women’s funerals it’s all about what she did for others and not at all her accomplishments. my daughter will talk about me as a complete person.

My mom was a nurse and at her funeral people talked about how amazing of a woman, mother AND nurse she was. It all mattered because she mattered.

I was very career driven until we moved for my husband’s job & I took some time off to help my kids adjust. I saw what I had been missing. I guess I became eulogy driven. I like that perspective!

My sister achieved extraordinary things in her career. Retired now my mother used to always use a thinly veiled insult to talk about women like her. “Oh she’s a real career woman” she would say.

I have a really cool job but no man ever asks me about it! My family is definitely the most important thing to me but I'm also proud of the projects I work on. I'm a good person in both areas too lol.

My aunts funeral. Became a nurse in 1952 and spent 40 years or so in the NICU helping babies… in addition to highlighting what a great mother, sister, aunt and friend she was

🙄🙄His baby went into cardiac arrest while he was out of town on business. His wife begged him to return home, but he did not. He stayed away for 10 days. He wrote about this in his book, including dates. As it turns out, we now know from the files that the reason he stayed away during that time is that he was visiting Jeffrey Epstein. He did not address this in his official statement 😡

My mom was a teacher, intelligent, hardworking, much adored. BUT we remember her for her "legacy of love" that she left for my dad, sisters and I. We honour her through our love of our kids ❤️
