I haven’t been able to touch anything of hers. Everything is still as she left it. Clothes, toothbrushes, jewellery. She’s been gone for over 4 years 🫂

awe, I feel your pain i lost my children's dad going on 4 years end of this January. his stuff was packed up and some was given a year after. The pain and regret still hurts to thie day 😪

such a true post. I too had to do all of this when my husband passed at 40 yrs old and suddenly I was a 36 yr old widow with no help and noone that understood everything that I had to do to keep going

I am also a widow 😔 so I know exactly how this feels, and all the things you've mentioned. things nobody realizes is the really hard reality of the things you have to do, all while your entire soul is broken 💔. My partners culture is the same. They get rid of everything as soon as person passes and then a year later they build a spirit house on the grave 🤍🪽

I feel this. We weren’t married. We talked about his will a few months prior. Life catches you. So does death. We thought he’d live forever… he got killed. I have 5 shirts to remember years of love.

I’ve never lost someone. But I can’t imagine how I’d handle something like unpacking their old clothes and getting that smell back after years of missing them. 💔
