there are differences between the green lights and blue in regards to road regulations green lights still have to stop at red lights etc

green flashers are the only lights that can be used in a Dr's car the white flashers are also illegal.

he can't legally have the blue lights. Because he works for a charity he isn't covered under the legislation for blue light work.

Someone needs to set the record straight, basics doctors are deployed to incidents via the local ambulance service. Having permission to have blue and white lights fitted for responding purposes.

Blue Light Services = Police, Fire & Rescue, EMS Ambulance, Coast Guard and Mountain Rescue. Green = On call or Emergency Doctor. Orange = Airport Emergency. Amber & Green Duo = Construction vehicles.

Due to semi understanding with beep (basics doctors) this setup by British law is allowed under an emergancy vehicle notion idk what clause or article but my bet is there is also a siren to match 1/2

Everyone saying you can’t fit them to private vehicles is just incorrect. You can get permission to fit them. Doctors, fire, police. Etc. If their position deems it necessary, they can get permission.
