Cherry chocolate pancakes. Recipe below. Black Forest Pancake Stack (serves 4) 170g self-raising flour 40g cocoa powder ½ tsp bicarbonate of soda 80g caster sugar 300ml buttermilk 2 small eggs beaten 100g dark chocolate chips 200ml double cream whipped Fresh cherries destoned and halved Chocolate sauce: 60ml water 60g caster sugar 20g cocoa powder 20g chocolate (70% cocoa) Method: 1: To make the chocolate sauce bring the sugar and water to the boil in a pan, add the chocolate and cocoa powder and stir until fully incorporated. Reduce over a medium to high heat until thickened slightly, remove from the heat and set aside to cool slightly. 2: Into a large bowl sift in the flour and cocoa powder then add in the bicarbonate of soda and sugar. In a separate bowl whisk together the eggs and buttermilk, add this to the dry ingredients and whisk together until fully combined. Heat a large non-stick pan over a low-medium heat then add in a small knob of butter, place two to three small ladles of the batter into the pan then sprinkle on some chocolate chips, leave to cook for around 2 minutes, flip then cook for a further minute or two. Repeat until you have used up the batter. 3: Portion three pancakes to around three per person then layer with cream and cherries, top with some more cream and cherries then drizzle over the hot chocolate sauce. #pancakes #asmrfood #cherry #Recipe #desserttiktok #dessertchallenge #desserttok
