See quite a few DMW canopies on tourists cars up here in Darwin and they’re much the same piss poor quality. Just coz it’s on 4wd24/7 doesn’t mean it’s a good product

Iv got an apex canopy which is cheap in comparrison to yours and the Finnish is perfect .so I don’t think your been picky

Ur trays bent bro. Twists the canopy causing this to happen. Nothing wrong with the canopy. Custom trays aren’t always square or straight.

it's not being picky! get that gap fixed mate , I had my toolbox broken into and they used the big gap to bend the whole door open using a prior bar

Just for context for anyone who dosent get why he isn’t happy with it, I don’t even have these issues with my 8k Chinese tray and canopy combo. A 20-30k DMW one should nearly open itself on command

depends what your definition of not cheap is, if it's a 20k canopy yeah but 4-5k i'd say that's what it would be like (depending on fitout costs)

I had that issue and it was because I broke a bolt underneath the tray causing the whole back end to twist. once I fixed it and levelled it out the door worked fine again
