Now we all know how much I always emphasize that cravings are often rooted in emotional eating, and go into this on other posts! But sometimes cravings can also have a physiological cause. Typically if we eat refined foods that are high in sugar and simple carbohydrates- it can lead us to having a blood glucose spike which then causes us to have increased appetite and potential cravings!  Does this mean you can never eat sugar again? Absolutely not. I always say having awareness so you can make small do-able changes that suit you empowers YOU to decide how you want to incorporate them! Having something like cookies as a snack VS incorporating them as part of your meal can be a small change that makes a big difference :) I also like to make desserts as part of my meal as I find that way I am less likely to overeat on it because I am not eating it out of hunger!  Remember, these are just helpful tips!
