I've had people try& make the case that a diet based on vegan foods being shipped from all over is more sustainable than a local meat CSA...They claim eco concerns w/o actually learning about em.

Do you eat animals every meal? Are you saying that because some cultures/marginalized groups can’t go vegan or shouldn’t that other people in the west shouldn’t consider why they should go vegan? So is the solution here to eat factory farmed animals and hide behind marginalized groups?

A bag of potatos is like 45$ in northern Alaska/canada and most food there sold is ultra processed. People there literally need to hunt for the majority of their food
