when I was on my mission I was subjected to insane psychological abuse by the mission leadership and that's a big part of what prompted my leaving the church

Cause my president never caught wise to the fact that I was making up numbers and kept congratulating for hard work when all my comp and I did was watch redox moves and play Magic The Gathering.

I loved my mission! No regrets there, but wish I had left 6 months after instead of 16 years after. Sounds like at least 40% of kids these days are smarter than I was 😂

I think it has to do something with preaching it you have to really believe it and investigators bring up a lot of questions that we are told not to question as kids to just "have faith" but for 1/2

My mission President and wife absolutely hated me and made no effort to hide it. They played favorites. I was extremely mentally ill. Went home early.
