We've had one just a year now and I feel its paid for its self already. Best investment I've ever made.

Why not have concrete raised like it’s a feed trough to prevent feed from pushing away from cattle’s reach

I'd actually love that job

isn't there a way where pushing the feed isn't required?

I know I’m an outlier here it I did try one and I couldn’t get it to finish one time through the barn. We milk about 250 and had nothing but trouble. Worked on it for a month no luck

I would base it on how long how many times your shelving plus a wage for someone so we did 4 times daily at 20 an hour 80 a day 300 days to pay it

Yes but that milk loss is if you don’t even push up the feed, if you already do a few times a day you probably don’t save much

that's not even taking into factor of fuel and labor to use another machine to do the same job

When we had cows I didn't wear a watch. But could tell you the time of day by what job i was doing. That unit frees up time for me I'm in!! Days were never long enough.

We have a Lely Discovery and works great most of the time. Especially when you keep humidity low in the barn. Cuts down on time to scrape with the skid loader and keeps barn clean consistently.
