@awesomeframers: Pro Tip: Keep the I Joist banded if possible.  This lets us gang cut.  This is 9 Joists that get cut on both ends- 1 measurement, 2 cuts 9 identicalish lengths.  No need go fuel mix, just some bar oil (remind me to grab some from the shop).  Same battery as the saws we are using and plenty of power.  Though I would like to get a chain with larger teeth.  We've always had chainsaws on the jobsite.  My mentor was very proud of his skills and he taught me to cut all th door bucks out when we framed AND he taught me not to hit nails.  I was 16. . . Looking back I can definitely say that its very good for a teenager to work with adults and be part of a crew.  Builds a sense of team and healthy self-confidence, as well as accountability.  As time goes on, I'm starting to really appreciate all the good influences I had growing up and now.  I had better things to do than smoke weed or drink beer at that age.  I got to work and build. #framersareadyingbreed #framing #chainsaw #makitatools #huberpartner #skilledtrades #bluecollar @Truewerk @Makita Tools USA
