they can tolerate any western fashion, cropped top, super short shorts, tank tops, etc. But never ever leggings. You will get lots of stares cause leggings is perceived as one not wearing any pants 😂

Japan LOVES dressing up!!! Even if it's casual!! The good thing is clothe is cheap there rn. if traveling to japan, I would recc cute and comfy but nothing athlesiure wear! I made sure to put some effort in when I went there.

Girl I felt the same fn way. I was sweating idk how they wear so much clothing. I wore hats/ball caps and sporty sneakers and saw no one else wearing that. Not even the other white foreigners.

I didn't have time to do laundry so the only bottom I had left to wear at one point was a form hugging skirt with a high slit and the locals literally did double takes😭 I ran to the coin laundry haha
