make sure the clutch is full engaged. If it doesn't engage properly you will get grinding and hard to shift. Just 1 possible issue. If not engaging properly start with the linkage.

I'd tell you to replace the linkage bushings, but it's just damn fun to shift a floor shift

I got a 85 Ford f250 with the i6 300 the distributor has the ignition system built in should I change it over to a two wire or will fitech talk to that?

always syncronize reverse by putting it in 1st then reverse, itll go right in

your clutch is not releasing completely, either you have a rear seal leak or it needs adjusting

the steering column is wore out, the bushings. my 78 is the same way. I'm fixing to convert to a 4 speed

They had issues inside the column of those 3 speeds unfortunately maybe put it on floor sorry bud
