I recently marathoned South Park season 1 episode 1 through the Panderverse episode and what is wild is you can almost FEEL like you’re traveling through time. Not even the Simpsons gives that feeling

this is legitimatley why I was hospitalized for 2 weeks in December for Crohn’s because docs and insurance could not get my new meds situated for the life of them (and me) for 3 months

And then you have to pay out of pocket bc while the hospital/dr were in network the radiologist wasn’t and you STILL don’t meet the deductible 😒

It’s terrifying how realistic this is. The problem is you’re dealing with two private businesses and you have to be your own advocate. Nobody is looking out for you in this system.

My insurance company ghosted the hospital and left me with a $20,000 bill for my labor when I was supposed to pay $650. It’s been 6 months of trying and I still haven’t gotten it resolved 😩
