Your example is very tame as far as the physiological abuse I’ve endured. And I endured highly skilled counseling that missed many opportunities to validate me and help me escape.

I’ve seen someone completely ruined by a bad therapist who told them they were abused, projecting their own issues on the patient…trouble is the patient WAS abused but never worked through it.
