What has Saudi Arabia done?
Saudi Arabia has contributed $1 million daily from 2000 to 2023 and built a massive residential complex with full services in Gaza. There have been 36 calls, visits, and meetings dedicated to Gaza, and 155 Saudi martyrs were recorded in 1948. Saudi Arabia halted oil twice, impacting interests, and granted 600,000 Palestinian residents full rights. The country initiated hundreds of efforts to establish a Palestinian state and executed 226 development projects for Palestine. It contributed $264 million to renovate residential areas and $285 million to support the Jerusalem Fund. Additionally, Saudi Arabia allocated $111 million for hospitals, $18 million for food security, $250 million for the injured and orphans, $365 million for the Rafah housing project, and $300 million for the Palestinian Relief Committee. Support for education and schools amounted to $165 million, infrastructure support reached $26 million, and construction projects received $43 million. Saudi Arabia also contributed $1 billion for the reconstruction of Gaza and $100 million to address medicine shortages. Thousands of statements and actions were made to support Palestine, with millions of sermons in the Two Holy Mosques, including prayers dedicated to Palestine at the end of every Friday prayer. Following hours of meetings, Saudi efforts restored water and electricity to Gaza and reopened the Rafah crossing. Additionally, Saudi Arabia organized meetings to encourage many countries to recognize Palestine.
