@itsme_lisap: Somemone tried to assume that I did not in fact go to a mosque to learn more and have my kids learn more about Islam in the wake of October 7th and that I lied, or am somehow not being genuine in my empathy. I did not broadcast this when we did it because it felt unnecessary and performative to do so. We learned so much and felt honored to be welcomed in to ask any and all questions. I asked permission to film ahead of time, so this clip is being shared with permission, knowing I would probably share our experience one day. My open heart will never be my weakness and I do not take well to questions of my integrity. If how I share my views does not align with what you want to see feel free to unfollow. But I am coming from a good place and a place that seeks understanding and peace.
