actually there was an issue where magneto forcefully removed wolverines adamantium skeleton, then on his healing factor pushed it's full potential due to the skeleton holding ir back preventing

wolverine with adamantium is perfect. wolverine without it his healing factor is almost incomprehensible. wounds would heal almost instantaneously. body parts grow back within seconds.

In all likelihood he doesn’t feel it because he “dies” upon impact for those heavy blows, as they may disrupt his atoms and stall the healing process to simulate death, only to come back to the damage
