I have a 1775sqf house with a 5 ton 18 seer variable condenser and a 2 ton mini split in my garage and it works great keeps me nice and comfy.

Absolute waste of $$. 1st service call you lose all u saved in energy. Not to mention near double upfront cost. This tech really only justified in comm applications where heat load fluctuates throughout the day.
