Little did I know that changing a few of my daily habits would COMPLETELY fix my mindless snacking! 1. EAT 30 g of PROTEIN with each meal Adding a significant amount of protein to all of your meals will significantly improve the urge to snack. Protein and well rounded meals will slow down your digestion, leading you to stay fuller for longer and not feel constantly hungry! 2. Drink at LEAST 75oz of mineral rich water  Did you know that the feeling of being dehydrated actually mimics what hunger cues feel like? Its true! If you aren’t drinking enough water, your body will make you feel like you are hungry! Stay hydrated! (Adding electrolytes/ minerals will make sure your body actually absorbs it!) 3. Sleep 7-9 hours EVERY NIGHT  Sleep is SO important for regulating our hormones, especially cortisol! When cortisol is chronically high in our bodies, it can trigger unnecessary stress which can lead to over eating. Getting good sleep is beyond important for your health.  4. Practice mindful eating Mindful eating is the act of being present during your meal. This means no TV, no phones, and especially no driving. Being present during your meal will allow your brain to actually process that you are eating and getting to a point of satiety.
