I had this happen to me when I got extremely sick one night before a shift and had a message from my coach saying it was okay for me to stay home that day without being pointed. I screenshot the message and saved it for future ref because I knew they'd try to point me, which they diddddd. That photo of him saying I could call out had them taking the point off real fast because I had proof I could take to high ups like ethics if they didn't and fired me.

I definitely feel your pain. I worked with a company doing pet sitting gigs and I got fired for leaving the trash can open and the dog got into the trash.
