Snitch ends the game, but 150 points? No it should be 20. Some strategy should be involved. Down by 40? Don’t catch the snitch and block the other person from getting it.

The movies just didn’t actually show any situation where the game wasn’t within 150pts. In books, the World Cup ends with Krum catching snitch but his team losing by 10

Snitch is worth 150. When it’s caught the game is over. If red team has 200pts the blue team goes from trying to catch the snitch for themselves to trying to stop the red team from getting it. Genius!

I’m not sure if this is true. But I read somewhere that all the players scoring throughout the game make it easier to catch the snitch . I don’t know if that’s true, but that would be a really cool
