As a teacher, thank you from the BOTTOM OF MY HEART for reading with your child. People would be shocked by the amount of kids I teach (secondary teacher - middle and high school) who can't read.

True. Son was in 8th grade on a 12th grade reading level. Homeschooling him in 10th; He graduated with a 4.0 from HS. It's never too late to homeschool.
