Yes you need to tell them again and argue strongly about it , our doona was in an accident and needed replaced along with the base , and they sent replacement check period just had to provide proof

They are not required to (at least not in my state- Florida). However, if you prove to them that Nuna says it’s required to be replaced and DONT cave. Keep pressing and they will reimburse eventually

I was in an accident last month and they also refused to place my Nuna rava for similar reasons. Car seat was in perfect condition but my car also was totaled?? I can’t spend $550 for a new one.

Our vehicle was parked and hit in a hit and run. Our car seat was replaced no problem and it showed no signs of damage. I would keep pushing! Ours was a $500 car seat too.

Oh that’s insane. The price of the car seat doesn’t matter, it doesn’t make it “more safe” but regardless they should replace it. It’s all about the internal structure that could’ve been damaged.

Did you ask your insurance or their insurance? Ask Nuna for a letter saying it needs to be replaced. You can also ask the insurance company for a letter stating they accept liability if the seat fails
