watched a crime show where guy came through garage door & they said “no one thinks to lock the door behind the locked door” I’ve been diligent since.

I also have an alarm sensor on the garage door itself tied to my home alarm. Garage door opens at night the whole alarm goes off. Same thing on the gate to my backyard.

The ‘side door’ is where a lot of people keep their hidden keys! Dont do it! Hide it somewhere away from doors where only you know

I installed a LiftMaster that has an automated deadbolt that secures the door once it’s closed. Worth every penny for the peace of mind the extra layer of security it provides

Also get a lock and put it in the hole and rail so that no one can lift the garage door ( your garage door would be locked)
