I’m the same, I wake up early, so I can make sure my housework is done by 8:30. I’d be mortified if someone turned up uninvited and my home wasn’t presentable.

the thing is, if these people just did one big clean a week and then just half an hour of cleaning a day their houses would always be clean and tidy! it's really not that hard to upkeep your home.
