confused in dutch; still find it so weird that carpet and stuff comes with the apartment. here you mostly get a bare apartment, no flooring, no blinds. you get that yourself and take it with you....

In Poland most of the landlords will take back security deposit xD One of landlords association suggest that leasers should repaint the apartament when renting ends after few years xDD

I used to clean apartments I lived in apartment like that for about five years my carpets never had stains 😬 vacuumed and cleaned them if anything got spilled right away… it’s not bad definitely need

That would never have been accepted in Sweden. Got charged 70$ for a scuff mark 0,18 inch wide on a cabinet door. 1 inch-sized mark in the ceiling they wanted me to repaint the whole ceiling.

In the Czech Republic, we usually have in the contract that we have to paint the wall before we move out. Is this a thing in America?

I wish landlords was like this in Denmark. here they would paint for everything. paint, carpet, repairs and clean up.. a nick in the doorframe = new door and frame. billed for everything!

I had a realestate asking me to come back to clean the dust off the skirting boards in the garage.. when we had done a full clean (we also got the house from the owners who didn’t clean and had dogs)
