or you're supposed to return paperwork via mail to them by the 20th but you only got the paperwork in the mail on the 17th.

Mom got me a lawyer when I was diagnosed with MS at 16 they helped us apply and get denied 6 times because I was working and my symptoms weren't severe enough even though I felt like I was dying

They mailed me the paperwork and it arrived the day it was due. When I called they wanted it the next day. I can’t fill it all out in 24 hours or get there

I just got my second denial and feel defeated. Same lawyers that denied to take me 2 years ago will now take my case, for 25% of everything

Don’t get discouraged if you get denied. Just appeal it. Most people get denied until they have to go before a judge (so 2 denials). I had notes from 6 drs saying I’m disabled and it still took 2 yrs

I recommend a lawyer. I’m in year 3 and have my hearing next week. The lawyer will only get paid when you get approved and then they usually take 20% of the first disability backdated check.

They're honestly the worst. The doctor for my physical check they required just didn't show up until 20 mins past my time (I was required to be 15 mins early or I would be turned away)

It took a while but I got SSDI and GRL did I wish they gave more because even with having a part time job ( I can’t handle anymore that that) I’m not getting enough from them to even help me survive

They sent a letter with a deadline of 10 days from letter date. I didn’t receive it until 2 months later, after I’d been told my app was denied for ‘not providing information’ 😬

i got super lucky when applying for disability cause it only took one application, i didntbhave to fight very hard to be approved, but that was cause i was having nearly daily seizures at the timesl
