A shofar is an ancient musical horn typically made of a ram’s horn or a kosher animal. The sound of a Shofar signifies several things: The Sound of manna falling from the heavens. The breath that brings life. The voice of victory to Abraham. The Voice of calling the troops, sound of alertness. The Voice of coronation; new kings are born. The sound that restores the fragrance of the garden that presented the smell of the garment and wedding of the groom. The Voice of change of guard The sound that changes the warriors’ position, strategy, pathway. The Voice of Amen The sound for when the decrees of kings are pronounced The Sound that sends fear to the enemy; and The sound that releases the four winds of God. As shofars of the last days, we are expected to discern and announce the times and seasons, alert the people of the dark and bright days ahead and release the RUACH OF GOD into the atmosphere to decimate demonic vices and influence. We are also expected to release shouts, sounds and echoes of restoration, victory and gladness into territories and cities.
