This exact scenario happened to our vet. The people surrendered the pup in the morning, by the afternoon the untrainable aggressive golden retriever puppy was part of our family.

Me laying down with the 1 yo Aussie/husky mix we adopted a few months ago who we were told was loud & high energy which is why they surrendered him. And now he is the most chill pup most of the time.

My soul dog was surrendered by his first owners due to being "high energy." Had him for 11 years before he passed. He was such an amazing dog. I'm glad they surrendered him so that I could adopt him.

I have a 7 month old Shiba Inu and omg I was not expecting my wall being eaten 🤦🏽♀️also didn't expect potty training to be hard either. But she's my dog so it is what it is.

I had this happen at my old vet clinic. This woman wanted to put her dog down because he kept running away… like I wonder why he was running away. 😭😭

Just found a puppy 3 wks ago. Pretty sure someone just dropped him at the fire station (just down from where I found him) & left. He’s so sweet pisses me off but we have an awesome pup now!

oh I've been there. our clinic had a contract. signed over ownership. took the dog to the shelter after work or called AC to pick up the dog from the clinic. happens a lot actually.

my fil's dog was likely on sedatives for the first 2 years of her life 😭 she was being fostered when my in laws adopted her. she wasn't a BAD dog, she just wasn't particularly friendly, and they warned us to give her time and space when we visited. she took to my kid faster than us, but she did warm up to all of us. she'd been locked up for so long everything was new to her! it's been a couple of years or so, maybe 3, and she's NOT the same dog. she's completely different 😭 she's come so far!! she's an Irish water spaniel
