today i went to the emergency vet. he had a rubber piece stuck in his intestines. i had no insurance and the surgery would have been 6000$ they didn’t take payment plans and i only had 1000$ upfront. luckily a surgeon in training did it for free for experience. everything is okay and we just took him back home. i hope his recovery is quick😔 definitely getting pet insurance after this

After 2 intestinal exploratory surgeries within 2 years and 1 pu surgery I for sureeee think it’s time to get some pet insurance cause lordt are mamas pockets BROKE.
