I was dismissed for years based on symptoms for the same diagnosis! I finally found a great neurologist and turns out I have a cardiac condition called PFO. It causes my complex hemiplegic migraines.

I would never wait for neurologist appointment that long. If you go to emergency when this happens, they will run all the tests same day and confirms it’s stroke or not.

I had the same thing happen and it took MONTHS to even get a doctor to believe me, even with multiple ER visits, they just kept wanting to tell me it was anxiety!

it could be anxiety but more specifically fnd triggered by anxiety that's what happened to me but this should only be the diagnosis after EVERYTHING else is ruled out

The way they brush everything off as anxiety is sickening. It’s sad to say that most of the doctors today are a absolute joke all in it for the money.

Passed out 2 days in a row got the same EMT on the second day he told me it was anxiety and to get a therapist, cardiologist diagnosed me with POTS

sometimes the healhcare team brushes it off. I went to the ER 4 times...the 4th time is when I actually had the stroke. have they checked your d-dimer level?

As a nurse that works in a rural health clinic we have to refer ppl daily and this is awful I hate this for you and all the comments it’s sad at how many ppl say doctors don’t listen

You need to get an angiogram on your brain. That's how they found out i had MoyaMoya disease.
