My dentist also told me that getting shoulders massages will help release tension too because your jaw muscles are connected to your shoulder muscles

Yes but what is majorly causing the inflammation? Her misaligned bite. I just had extensive jaw surgery to fix my TMJ due to my misaligned bite. This is an orthognathic issue.
