That’s why I cry when my boys are asleep. My wife passed 18 months ago, and if it hurts me, as a grown man, it must hurt more to them. He needs someone to hug him only. Trust me I know.

my mom left my dad because he would drink alot but my dad loved her so much and right before he passed away, his last words were my mom's name. He was calling out for her. I miss my dad so much 😭

I’ve seen it and witness it a lot as a cna it will never get easy. Once I had a resident tell me that “ you’re think you’re ready but when the day comes you’re not. I’m all alone, all alone!” 😔😔

This is true specially at night when my mom passed i used to hear my dad crying and it’s the most painful thing but it’s also good to cry and not hold it inside but it’s hard 😭
