We are all familiar with the saying “It’s not what you know, it’s who you know.” This statement couldn’t be more prominent in today’s society and business environment. Business is challenging enough, and while it’s important to understand how your operations work, having “specific knowledge” in every aspect is difficult. However, the value of specialized knowledge cannot be overstated. It’s the key to success, and there are not many professions that have a direct impact on you financially as your accountant does. I speak from experience. I know how bad it is out there, but the only people who get rewarded in life are those who go and do something about it. Don’t complain about your situation; make it better.
